In addition to our ongoing courses and workshops, we also regularly present a number of diverse special events, taking place both within and outside the College. We also invite you to celebrate the end of another year with us at our annual Festive Evening, shortly before we break for the Winter Recess.

6 & 7 February 2010 (Sat & Sun) SPECIAL Workshop

ANGELA AND GRAHAM BUXTON KING: Healing in Hospitals

This unique 2-day workshop has been created by Angie Buxton-King and Graham King who between them have 15 years experience of working as healers within the NHS. It is suitable for those wishing to work as therapist within a statutory setting or for those who wish to have a better understanding of what is required of therapists within a hospital setting. In this workshop you will look at how to prepare and present yourself to hospitals, how to describe healing to conventional medics, nurses and patients. You will learn what language you as a healer can use, simple anatomy, case histories to inform your practice. Working with patients from diagnosis to passing, infection control, practical sessions on how to adapt your therapy within a hospital setting, how to integrate within a multi discipline team and the importance of clinical supervision.

Angie Buxton-King has been employed as a Spiritual Healer and Complementary Therapy Team Manager in the NHS for 10 years. She is a Reiki Master Teacher, tutor for the National Federation of Spiritual Healers, Clinical Lead for Complementary Therapy for the Foundation of Integrated Health, director and trustee for The Sam Buxton Sunflower Healing Trust (SBSHT) and The Guild of Professional Healers (GPH).

Graham King has been employed as a Reiki Healer within the NHS for 5 years -specialising in children and teenagers with cancer. He is a Reiki Master and Teacher, Healer Member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers and Director Trustee for SBSHT and the GPH Both Angie and Graham’s work has been featured on National television along with numerous articles published on their work within the NHS in the national and international press. Angie is the author of The NHS Healer published by Virgin Books in 2004. In 2006 they created their charity The Sam Buxton Sunflower Healing Trust which initially funded five healers to work alongside conventional medicine at University College London Hospital. The charity now has a five further projects elsewhere in the UK.

June-Elleni laine: We often study esoteric subjects and practise psychic arts, but what application can they have for you in your day-to-day life and just how can they help with some of life’s bigger questions? David will discuss some of his case studies and encourage you to get creative with your own knowledge and abilities.

David Wells is the highly popular former star of Most Haunted and astrologer for the Daily Mirror, Now Magazine, Sky Magazine, and the Scottish Daily Record. He has studied astrology, past lives and the Kabbalah in great depth. He regularly tours the world giving demonstrations. Has written many books including his latest Psychic Secrets published in December 2009.
