Theatre has always been a powerful tool for transformation. An audience can change its perceptions about self and society though performance. In this workshop you will learn a form of intuitive improv theatre, where the actors tune into the story told by an audience member. They then replay the story intuitively bringing out more insight that the teller has themselves. Intuition also plays a part during performance as the cast must tune into their fellow actors to seamlessly move as one. This workshop is for people who want to find a physically embodied somatic way to develop intuition and for people who enjoy performing. This series of workshops provides an introduction to anatomy and physiology. We will explore ways of using the structures, tissues and systems of the body as a gateway to ground the spirit and to enliven the tissues of the body. There will be: talks on anatomical principals, meditations and guided visualisations, discussion, self-reflection and experimental exercises (single and/or paired work). We will look at how we move, the grounding structure of the skeleton and how muscles hold our personal history. A fun day exploring colour, with the aim of bringing more joy into your life with colour. You will start the day checking and spring cleaning your Chakras making sure they are true to colour. Using ribbons in fabulous colours you will learn how to give your intuition a good workout. You will explore how colour affects healing: what works best for soothing, relaxing, warming and energising the body. Finally, you will examine what colours can be associated with your guides. With the aid of colour wax blocks we will do some psychic ironing to produce a picture with a message from our guides. Using ancient healing techniques used by the Tibetans, singing bowls will be placed around the body and played as a sound bath to bring about release, balance and healing. We will use sound vibration to communicate with the body intelligence to work on a cellular level as well as the spirit of the emotional levels. This workshop starts with a singing bowl meditation before participants are given a brief history of singing bowls and their composition, their resonation range and how this alters the brainwave frequencies. You will be guided how to play a singing bowl effectively for healing purposes. An overview of the chakra system will be given as well as a demonstration to locate each chakra before you will find, first hand, where each chakra is by feeling the energy with your own hands. You will then be shown how to place bowls on and near each chakra for healing purposes. You will work in small groups, each taking it in turns to become healer and client, relaxing and absorbing within the vibrations of the chakra cleanse and balance as energy flows over and through you.

An introduction to the Chinese meridian energy system of the body. Learn how to influence the energy flow within the meridians to improve health and well-being for yourself and for clients. You will be introduced to this ancient healing discipline, and by locating the bladder meridian in the body, increase sensitivity of the hands by tuning into the energy flow, increase the well-being of your partner and add this knowledge to your practise of healing. After a brief overview, we will tune into the flow of energy or Ki within the meridian and aim to influence the flow of energy in order to bring about integration and balance. Once you have identified areas of energy flowing easily and blocked areas you will apply techniques to re-address the balance. As Human Beings, we can be full of the imprints of our past experience. Our personal history and belief system, past life catalogue, genetic blueprint, along with all of our experiences in other dimensions and galaxies, all can leave their mark in our psyche, and energy field. At this time, we may be well served by letting go of much of the accumulated debris and data, so that we become light, free, and available to the amazing influx of grace that is currently available in our collective journey. On this day we will explore some of the constructs that keep us bound and limited. Working with simple techniques, processes and sounds, prayers, meditations and invocations we will invite freedom from our history, so that we may more fully occupy our bodies and our lives with joy harmony and peace, moving into our potential more easily, speedily and gracefully.

This is a follow up workshop to part one based on traditional teachings. The workshop is for students who have been working at the auric/psychic level for a while and have not fully made the transition to working at the clairvoyant level. We will be working on differentiating between the psychic and the clairvoyant levels and how to raise the vibration and recognise where the information wee receive is coming from and how to relate it to the sitter. Students must have completed Fundamentals of Psychic Development Part 1 or have been in a beginner’s development class for at least 2 terms.

The human instrument is composed of vibrations which, due stress, negative emotions and a dispersed mind, go out of tune. The object of sound healing is to draw these frequencies closer to their optimum point and in so doing re-tune the person towards harmony and contentment. The best instrument for this is the internal vibrations of our own voice. James will focus this workshop on a variety of ways of toning both East and West the energy centres known as the chakras, the core of our soul life. Supplementary to these practices are natural sound rituals such as laughter and humming, mantra, chants and specialized Taoist sounds for the organs of the body. Some of the work is complemented by simple movements similar to Tai Chi which encourage and direct the sounds. Tuning forks are introduced to stimulate the cells and nervous system. No experience required, only the deep intent for transformation.

A follow-on workshop for those who have attended the first meridian workshop. Within Chinese medicine the energy of the ‘EARTH’ element provides us with feelings of being supported, grounded and nourished. This can be on a physical, emotional, mental or spiritual level. The Stomach and Spleen meridians influence the front of the body and the organs of the digestive system. We will engage with our own EARTH qualities, using meditation and exercises, before accessing the EARTH energy in another via specific meridians and acupoints.
