THE PEOPLE AT THE COLLEGE
All Sensitives, Healers and Counsellors working at the College have trained for many years and are personally vetted by members of the College Council. Our Tutors have extensive training in their respective fields and are dedicated to support people's personal, psychic and spiritual development.
JULIA SHEPHERD (HEALING TUTOR)
Having initially trained as an aromatherapist, Julia Shepherd first came to the College of Psychic Studies as a student in 1996, and has been teaching there since 2003. A College-Accredited Healer, she is a tutor for the Foundation Level of the College Healing Accreditation Course and other Healing courses.
Her special interests lie in the areas of self-healing and in the esoteric traditions of Alice Bailey. Julia runs workshops both at the College of Psychic Studies and privately, focussing on these interests. Subjects covered include:

- Healing relationships – With others and yourself
- Walking your Soul’s path
- Chakra Meditation
- Personal Development for Therapists and Healers
Julia is also a Reiki Master and teacher, with a strong lineage and close connection to Hawayo Takata – the last Grand Master of Reiki. Julia was attuned to all three levels of Reiki by Claire Montanaro.
Julia is working towards raising the standards of Reiki training and ensures that all of her students are taught correctly and have ongoing opportunities to enhance their knowledge.
