The materialist world view has dominated the sciences since the late nineteenth century, but is now breaking down as its dogmas are thrown into question by the advances of the sciences themselves.

One of materialism's greatest weaknesses is its inability to account for the very existence of consciousness.

In this talk, Rupert Sheldrake will show how new ideas and research are helping to illuminate the nature of minds and their relationship to bodies.
