Honour the Awen - Gong Bath

Honour the Awen - Gong Bath

Diana Vernon
Tuesday 31 March 2020
7:00pm - 8:30pm

The Awen is derived from the Welsh, Cornish and Breton language and is very powerful symbol which in Celtic language means essence, spirit or inspiration, and is an image used and chanted by Druids to invoke and send blessings.

The symbol has 3 rays and there are many interpretations as to their meaning - male, female and the balance between them, or land, sea and sky, or mind, body and spirit.

In our beautiful candle-lit hall whilst listening to the resonance of the gongs, let us meditate on the three rays as mind, body and spirit to bring harmony and unity to us this evening
