All forms of resentment take a toll - sometimes an extremely heavy one on the person harbouring it.

Forgiveness on the other hand is a gift of grace which enables us to live life to the full, unfettered by the drag of resentment, or guilt if we are the offender.

With some extremely striking examples taken from Pierre's correspondence with a death row inmate in Texas and from a dear friend of Pierre's whose husband committed suicide taking their children and home with him in this act of despair, we will examine how the miracle of total forgiveness is ultimately the greatest gift we can bestow upon ourselves and those around us.

Finally, we will discover together that where there is no judgment, the very need for forgiveness disappears and one is left only with gratitude for the abundance that life grants us freely.
