As the stresses of daily life take their toll on our body and mind, we may find ourselves depleted, lacking the inner resources to meet life's wild adventures at our optimum capacity. We can start to feel weary, overwhelmed, preferring to curl up quietly and duck out of it all. Of course, the body and mind need downtime. It is vital for us to regularly reset our energy field so we can fully engage in life's great adventures, so we can get the most out of life.
One of the most effective ways to press reset is with yoga. In this kundalini yoga workshop, we work with breath, kriyas (movements), mantras and meditations to nourish the body and mind, release stress from the cells and create a solid foundation for us to meet life with gusto and dynamism once more. We will work on easing the effects of toxicity, physical and psychic, and establish a healing mode of homeostasis in the body.
This workshop is for everyone, regardless of level or ability. All you need to practise is an open mind and willing spirit. You may find some of the movements challenging but always worth your best efforts.
Please have a yoga mat or rug to practice on, or a chair if you find it uncomfortable to practice on the floor. You will also need enough space around you to be able to comfortably lie flat on your back. Please wear comfy clothes appropriate for movement, and have some water handy.
This workshop will be live on Zoom. All you need to take part is a computer with a webcam and microphone.
