The role of the shaman is to balance the needs of the spiritual world and the invisible face of nature with the human world.Often this may mean they have to go against human and social conditioning in favour of spirit. They also get their information directly from spirit, which means they do not always adhere well to human authority.

A world without shamans is a world of conformity - a world where we find ourselves today. Many people called to this path then operate as the outsider or rebel.

In this talk we will explore how the sacred rebel can be integrated into our lives. We will look at the role of the trickster or sacred clown and what traditional function they play in society. We will also explore the difference between destructive rebellion, acting out of disassociated parts of ourselves and sacred rebellion. Finally we will look at how rebellion can bring us closer to spirit and be the catalyst of immense healing in our lives.

This talk is taking place in-person at our college in London
