In kundalini yoga teachings, we are transitioning from the Piscean Age with all its hierarchies, patriarchy and power struggles to the more fluid, nebulous Aquarian Age. In this age, information is suddenly free for all to access, and time speeds up. We are freer to make choices and we start to question the authority of the social institutions that we once held in such high regard.
No longer is the truth found outside ourselves in politics, media, religious texts etc, instead the truth is found in one’s heart, in one’s Self. The Aquarian Age a fantastic age in which to be alive – we’re very lucky! But the transition can be stressful as we relearn to trust our intuition and our heart’s wisdom, and as we develop discernment and acclimatise to the overload of information and faster pace of life. In this workshop, we will practice breathwork, kriyas, meditations and mantras to strengthen our nervous system and align us with the frequencies of the Aquarian Age.
We will learn techniques to help us better cope with it - and enjoy its gifts! Please wear loose comfortable clothes. You may find some of the practices challenging, but always worth your best efforts! If you struggle with sitting on the yoga mat on the floor for extended periods, chairs will be available.
