In the 1960s, composer Pauline Oliveros began asking what it would mean to truly listen, an inquiry that became Sonic Meditations and grew into the wider Deep Listening practice. In this in-person workshop, facilitated by a member of artist duo Blanc Sceol, you'll experience the practice firsthand through Deep Listening exercises, somatic bodywork and Sonic Meditations.

In this workshop, we will connect, move and sound with our surroundings. Through Deep Listening, bodywork and Oliveros' 'special procedures' for communal listening and sonic improvisation, we'll expand our awareness of the sonic environment, externally and internally, in a collaborative, experimental and playful way.

Book now to enter an extraordinary experience of sound and deep listening – come with a curious spirit and willingness to participate.
