Community Guidelines

We want The College of Psychic Studies building and digital spaces to be safe, welcoming places where all members of our community feel free to express themselves. Creating positive and inclusive spaces is our priority, and our Community Guidelines set out what we do and don't allow in both our physical and digital events. Please read these Community Guidelines carefully before joining any event, whether online or in-person, at The College of Psychic Studies.

  1. With respect for your tutor, consultant and/or fellow participants, please arrive on time and, if attending multiple classes or sessions, attend each session.
  2. If you cannot attend, please let us know by emailing admin@collegeofpsychicstudies.co.uk so we can inform your tutor. For consultations, please contact your consultant as well as the admin team on the email above.
  3. No alcohol is to be consumed and no meals are to be eaten during the session.
  4. Be respectful and patient with others - do not talk over the tutor or fellow students, keep questions concise, and help to create a space where everyone can participate equally.
  5. Be mindful of sharing sensitive information.
  6. Abusive behaviour towards your consultant, tutor or fellow students is never acceptable.
  7. It is not permitted to make personal recordings of any event.
  8. For online events and/or consultations, make sure you have a working webcam and audio ready to use.
  9. Find a quiet, private space to attend online events and/or consultations – attendance is not appropriate if you are in a public place, travelling on public transport or driving.
  10. When joining an event online, be aware that your fellow participants can see your background, and could be distracted by family members, children, pets, or moving backgrounds.
  11. For online events, mute your microphone, unless when talking to your tutor/fellow students, or when specifically requested by the tutor.
  12. For consultations, if the session is not working for you or the consultant, you each have the opportunity to cancel the session within the first 15 minutes, and a full refund will be given.
  13. If you have any health, accessibility or special requirements, please inform the College team well in advance of the start of the event, so these details can be shared, if permitted, with your tutor. Please email admin@collegeofpsychicstudies.co.uk.

These guidelines sit alongside our terms & conditions. Combined, they set out your obligations to us and our obligations to you, with regards to your use of The College of Psychic Studies building and digital spaces (which includes that you agree to not violate our Community Guidelines). We are committed to these guidelines and we hope you are too. Breaching the Community Guidelines may result in your not being allowed to participate further, along with other restrictions, as deemed appropriate by the College.
