Our Cancellation and Refunds Policy

Workshops, Courses, Consultations, Talks, Demonstrations

  • Refunds or a credit note are available up to seven days before your event
  • Refunds will be subject to a 25% processing fee
  • A credit note will not be subject to this processing fee

No refund is available if:

  • You give notice of cancellation less than seven days before your event
  • You do not show up on the day of the event for any reason
  • You leave an event early for any reason

No refund or credit note is available if you attend an event and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content.

Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Deposits and initial instalments are non-refundable.
In the case of courses and events requiring prior assessment with a tutor: If your application is unsuccessful and does not pass the assessment, your deposit or initial instalment will be repaid in full. 

All refund requests must be made to the College via admin@collegeofpsychicstudies.co.uk.

Membership, Retreats, On-Demand

We do not give refunds or credit notes for membership, retreats or on-demand.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

Booking Terms and Conditions

  • You must be at least 18 years old to attend any event at the College or organised by the College, whether in person or online.
  • In the event that the College has to cancel a consultation, event, workshop or course, fees will be refunded in full.
  • The College is not responsible for any loss due to the cancellation of any event.
  • The College reserves the right to alter the structural content, defer, reschedule or change the tutor of any course or workshop, event or activity if circumstances demand.
  • Courses and workshops run with a minimum number of participants. If this minimum number is not reached, the College reserves the right to cancel the event. All fees will be refunded in full.
  • The College reserves the right to preclude a student from joining a course that they have enrolled for if the student has missed the first two or three classes in succession.
  • The College reserves the right to ask the student to leave a class, workshop, lecture, demonstration, clinic or other event and rescind membership at its discretion.
  • The College reserves the right to refuse admittance or send away any person intending to, or who is already attending, a talk, course, workshop, consultation or outside event, if the College feels that in their judgement a person is found to be unsuitable and that it would not be in the best interest of the student or other participants for them to remain.
  • Current UK law obliges the College to state that all consultations and demonstrations given are for educational and entertainment purposes only.

No liability is accepted for:

  • Loss or damage to property whilst on the College premises or during an online event, course or workshop organised by the College.
  • Losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in travel services, sickness, weather or any other cause.
  • Inability to attend an event, workshop, course or activity due to a participant's internet connection or faulty computer and associated hardware and software.

Anyone wishing to take part in any College event or activity, whether on the College premises or away from the College premises, is embarking on a personal journey of investigation and exploration that should not be entered into lightly. Everyone should take personal responsibility for themselves. Attendance at consultations, talks, courses, workshops and any other event are at the individual's own risk without liability on the part of the College. 

Please be aware that it is not advisable to take part in College activities if you abuse recreational drugs or alcohol. Food should not be consumed during any events, unless explicitly allowed by the event leader(s). 

Participants are expected to be punctual and behave with respect to the event leader(s) and others who are present.

Recordings

  • For all livestream events wherein it is specified that 'This event will be recorded', you will find the link to the recording in your College Account. You will receive an email to alert you when the recording link is available. 
  • Please be patient while we add the recording link. We will endeavour to add the link on the next working day following the event but please allow two working days. 
  • This recording is unedited. It may feature individual participant screens and display names. It may also feature participant contributions and questions. If you would prefer not to feature in the recording, please keep your camera turned off, and type any questions in the Chat.
  • Recordings will be available for replay for the duration of three months following the event.
  • Personally recording or filming any part of any event, workshop or course, whether online or in person at the College is not permitted. 
  • The content of all audio and visual recordings remains the sole copyright of the College and must not be used for public purposes. Any public use constitutes a breach of Copyright Law.

Booking

The following credit and debit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Amex.

  • Participants are advised to book as far ahead as possible to avoid disappointment.
  • To reserve a place on a workshop/lecture/course/consultation or outside event, payment must be made in full at the time of the booking online.
  • In order to book an event, workshop or course, you must provide an email address. If you do not provide one, we may not be able to process your booking.

Disabled Access and Parking

  • Please check with us before booking regarding disabled access.
  • Please make your own parking arrangements prior to booking. Car parking is limited in the South Kensington area.

The College Register of Accredited Healers

All students on the College Integrated Healing Diploma Course are required to hold appropriate insurance to cover their healing. Proof of insurance is submitted to us at accreditation and at each annual renewal after that. However, The College of Psychic Studies takes no responsibility should a member's insurance be discontinued at any time throughout the year after submitting their insurance documents to us. Furthermore, The College of Psychic Studies takes no responsibility for the actions of any of our qualified healers whose details are received in good faith. We shall not be held responsible for any damages or costs of any type, arising out of, or in any way connected with the contract between client and healer. Healing is not a replacement for conventional medical care and if you are in doubt about your healthcare choices, you should consult a doctor.
