Raised in a Catholic family, Augusto Provenzano began his conscious spiritual journey at the age of 36, when he chose to follow Kardecist Spiritism at the Centro Espírita Dr Bezerra de Menezes in Cascadura, Rio de Janeiro. At 41, he began attending Umbanda centres as a consulente, deepening his connection with Brazil's living spiritual traditions.
In early 2023, at the age of 43, Augusto encountered Casa de Cura and felt an immediate affinity with the energy of the house. He joined the development course and, after completing it, was invited to serve as a medium at Casa de Cura. Since then, he has taken on a significant responsibility within the house, rising to the position of Pai Pequeno – a role that reflects his dedication, maturity and spiritual strength.
Augusto has a leading role at Casa de Cura, works alongside Pai André when incorporated as Mestre Filipe, and also serves independently as a psychic surgeon through his own spirit doctor, Mestre Mohammed.
