Benjamin Stimpson

Benjamin Stimpson is an award-winning author, folklorist, podcaster, and spiritual worker whose story straddles both Europe and North America. He has been a frequent guest on hundreds of podcasts, most notably being interviewed by best-selling author Mat Auryn and Rachel True (of The Craft fame), and has also been featured on the BBC. 

He is the author of Ancestral Whispers: A Guide to Developing Ancestral Veneration Practices (Llewellyn), Of Doves and Ravens: The Witches and Wisefolk of Wales and the Borders (History Press), and Of Toads and Hares: The Witches and Wisewomen of England (The History Press). His work has been endorsed by such figures as Professor Ronald Hutton, Dr Owen Davies, Daniel Foor PhD, Phillip Carr-Gomm, Nicholas Pearson, and Dr Tabitha Stanmore, among others.

An accomplished speaker and presenter, Benjamin has spoken at events in both North America and Europe centred on witchcraft, magic, folklore, applied spiritual practice, and queer spirituality. He is also a professional psychotherapist and holds a degree in Medieval and Classical Studies from the University of Waterloo.

Benjamin spent many years living in Ontario, Canada before making the move to return to his homeland of Wales, where he sits perched on the top of a Welsh mountain enjoying copious cups of tea.
