As a toddler, Helin would look at a photograph of her grandfather, who died before she was born, and hear his voice along with the subtle scents of tobacco and aftershave as if he had just entered the room. She was a sensitive child and assumed everyone felt the subtle currents as she did: vivid dreams, detailed visions and intuitive foresight.
Growing up, she was immersed in the creative arts. Piano practice and visual artistic study became her refuge and later her profession. This culminated with a PhD in Fine Arts and Transcultural Studies, laying the foundation for a career in teaching. Alongside her artistic and academic trajectory, her connection to spirit deepened with her first near-death experience at the age of 20. This opened new pathways and an ongoing, living relationship with the spirit world: 'I could sense when someone was about to become ill or die, and she experienced post-death visitations during sleep, which at times left me searching for purpose and meaning.'
Coming from a lineage of psychics and a medical intuitive great-grandfather, Helin supported friends from a young age by reading cards and tea leaves alongside her grandmother.
In 2007, the death of a dear friend threw her into a period of deep crisis, prompting her to seek guidance through sittings with several mediums. 'These brought her comfort, clarity, and the revelation that I, too, could help others find peace and inspiration in their journeys.' After this realisation, Helin first attended a spiritual circle and later joined The College of Psychic Studies. She trained under the guidance of Anthony Kesner, who recommended her for her position at the College and she is in Gary Wright's professional-level class. She has also studied with Gerrie March, Avril Price and Daniel Pitt – teachers for whom she holds deep gratitude.
Helin is an accredited practitioner in Usui and Holy Fire Reiki, Quantum-Touch, Pranic Healing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Past Life Regression, and Akashic Therapy. She is part of the Spirit Doctor team, working collaboratively with their spiritual support. In addition, she is a qualified Nutritional Therapist, Macrobiotics and Ayurvedic Consultant, and a Coach in Chinese Metaphysics, providing somatic, nutritional and energetic healing. She also offers tarot and psychometry readings.
During a mediumship consultation, Helin opens a bridge to ancestors and loved ones in spirit – as well as to pets, spirit guides, ascended masters and archangels. Memories and messages are shared with compassion, offering comfort and reassurance. She also helps illuminate the deeper patterns that shape people's paths, including past-life themes, karmic patterns and soul-level wounds, so that obstacles can be released and new possibilities embraced. Each consultation is intended to bring clarity and renewal, leaving clients uplifted, empowered, and more deeply aligned with the journey of their soul.
