Each of these six classes guides you through a practical, immersive and sacred experience that speaks directly to the psyche, summoning the sacred feminine within you.

Week 1

• Women in the traditional arts in the middle ages
• Looking at the tapestry of creation
• The universal symbol of the circle and the colour gold

Week 2 

• Women in alchemy and science
• The legacy of Caterina Sforza
• Alchemical nigredo: finding light in our darkness
• The square and its symbolism

Week 3 

• Goddesses and water
• The spiral and its symbolism
• The colour lapis lazuli

Week 4 

• Female visionaries and mystics
• The seven pointed star and its symbolism
• The colour white

Week 5 

• The regulation of sanctity and female spirituality
• Maria-Sophia, the cult goddess of wisdom
• The Vesica and its symbolism
• The colour yellow ochre

Week 6 

• The Hieros Gamos: union of archetypal figures
• The pentagram and its symbolism
• The colour cinnabar

We will not be recording these classes. One of the unique aspects of the College's online courses is that they are highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to discuss and share with the tutor and the group. These sharings can be very personal, and some may not feel comfortable with them being recorded. If you need to miss any sessions, your tutor will be happy to offer a brief outline of the material covered.
