It is with deep gratitude and love that we announce the retirement of our beloved tutor, Anthony Kesner, from his role as senior tutor at The College of Psychic Studies, following his diagnosis with motor neurone disease.

Hundreds of College students have trained under Anthony's exacting and encouraging approach, among them our own principal, Gill Matini. His influence runs through the College community and beyond, with his insistence on clarity and strong evidence setting a benchmark for excellence in mediumship.

Anthony's journey in the spiritual world began at just five years old. While in hospital having his tonsils removed, he experienced a vivid dream: his father being taken up to heaven by two angels. The vision was crystal clear. That night, his father passed away at the age of 41.

Over the years that followed, Anthony continued to experience visions of remarkable accuracy. In 1990, feeling called to develop this ability, he joined The College of Psychic Studies as a student. He trained under the guidance of long-standing College tutors Robin Winbow and Gerrie March, and emerged as a skilled medium.

In 2000, Anthony returned to The College of Psychic Studies as a tutor. It is in this role that so many of us have come to know and respect him. For more than two decades, he has guided students through mediumship development courses and workshops, from beginner to advanced levels. His passion has always been clear: to bring out the very best in every student and to help shape professional mediums of the future. He has also inspired many with his demonstrations and private sittings, consistently presenting remarkable evidence of life beyond death.

While we are deeply saddened that motor neurone disease has made it necessary for Anthony to step back from teaching, we choose to celebrate a career defined by service and an unwavering dedication to Spirit and to his students. Anthony's legacy is not only in the hundreds of mediums he has trained, but in the exacting standards he upheld. His contribution to The College of Psychic Studies is immeasurable.

On behalf of the entire College community, past and present students, fellow tutors, staff and council, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Anthony, we honour your work and your extraordinary commitment to the path of mediumship.
