In August 2026, I returned to Egypt for my annual pilgrimage – a journey through some of its most extraordinary ancient sacred sites, connecting to the energy, Heka [magick] and Neterju [Egyptian deities] that I channel and work with. This pilgrimage is purposed to bring a stream of energy direct from the source to my ceremonial work and all my Egyptian teachings, including my Hermetic and Alchemy offerings to those who connect with me through my work. This is not read or simply learnt – I live this energy and convey it to all my people who join me. I bring the ancient practices and teachings to life in an easy-to-access fashion – that is my directive from the two guides I am lucky enough to be chosen to channel: Sekhmet and Djehuti/Thoth.
I have travelled and worked in Egypt many times, but this journey felt different from the beginning. Over seven extraordinary days, a clear progression emerged – from the Sphinx and Great Pyramid at Giza, through the temples and necropolises associated with Bastet, Djehuti Thoth, Osiris, Hathor and Sekhmet, before finally returning to Giza to close the journey where it had begun.
What unfolded became one of the most transformative experiences of my magical journey to date, timed with precision to some extraordinary cosmic events: the Lions Gate, the solar eclipse and the planetary line-up, to name a few. On my own personal astrological chart, this was indeed a very important time for me to be in Kemet (Egypt).
7 August | Arrival in Cairo
I arrived in Cairo on the day before Lions Gate on 8th August, giving myself time to settle before beginning the pilgrimage the following morning. I had planned to be at the Great Pyramid on 8/8, to align with the portal of the Lions Gate: the alignment of Sirius, Orion and the Earth, creating a powerful energetic portal. I wanted to begin my pilgrimage within that alignment, to receive downloads from Djehuti Thoth.
8 August | The Sphinx and Great Pyramid at Lions Gate
I began at the paws of the Sphinx, opening the pilgrimage at the threshold of this extraordinary sacred landscape. From there, I entered the Valley Temple, understood within the mystery-school tradition as one of the first stages of preparation of consciousness, through which the ancient neophyte would pass before approaching the Great Pyramid.
I then went to the Ancestors' Temple outside the Great Pyramid, where I made an offering of gratitude and acknowledgement to the ancestors. Each stage was a preparation for what was to follow: Sphinx, Valley Temple, Ancestors' Temple and, finally, entry into the Great Pyramid itself.
I then entered what is known as the King's Chamber. Djehuti Thoth told me many years ago that it is an activation chamber, if you know the wisdom keys to activate it – and I have been gifted those keys. I explain all about the keys in my teachings, and how you too can access your own keys of wisdom by working with me.
I prepared to meet the 8/8 alignment and the energetic portal associated with Sirius and Orion. My intention was very specific: to place myself within that alignment and connect directly and purely with Djehuti Thoth, the Egyptian deity of wisdom, writing, knowledge and Heka, and one of my main channels.
Something extraordinary happened almost immediately. As I entered, the people who had been inside began to leave, and at the same time, the guard temporarily stepped away. This gave me an unexpected opportunity to sit directly in the centre of the King's Chamber, something that is normally not permitted. This is where the actual tip of the pyramid is above, the position where the Activation Chamber used to be. I sat there for around 10 minutes in meditation, directly within the alignment of the Lions Gate portal, receiving and working with the energy of the portal.
When the guard returned, he asked me to stand, as sitting there was not allowed. But the connection had already been made.
Then, remarkably, the chamber emptied completely. This was in the middle of the day, yet suddenly there was nobody there. The guard looked at me and asked if I wanted to meditate. I said, "Yes, please." Because of the cameras now operating within the chamber, he positioned me behind the sarcophagus, where I was able to remain undisturbed for approximately another 20 minutes.
Djehuti Thoth made this happen. I received a series of very powerful downloads. The details of those transmissions remain private, but they concerned the continuation and deepening of my own work, as well as guidance about how I could connect more deeply with my students through that work.
When I finally exited the Great Pyramid, I made a "round of respect," walking around the pyramid. Djehuti Thoth was still very strongly present with me as I walked.
And then came one exceptionally clear instruction: "I want my own standalone ceremony. I will give further instruction."
That instruction became one of the most important threads to emerge from the pilgrimage. Djehuti Thoth was stepping forward in a whole new fashion.
Later, sitting on my hotel balcony looking straight towards the pyramids, I entered a spontaneous open-eye channelled meditation, and spent almost two hours afterwards writing. Djehuti Thoth channelled ideas – the detailed instructions for future ceremonial work – which poured onto the page. My channel was wide open.
9 August | Bubastis, the Temple of Bastet
The following day I travelled to Bubastis, the ancient cult centre of Bastet. Very little of the original temple remains standing today (see below left), but its fragments have been laid out in a way that allows the knowledgeable visitor to begin reconstructing its original plan.
With the guidance of my wonderful Egyptian guide, I was able to walk symbolically through the temple as if it were still standing, through its halls and sacred areas towards the Holy of Holies – the most sacred place within the temple, which I cover in my Egyptian Temple Rites workshop at The College of Psychic Studies.
Bastet represents a gentler aspect of Sekhmet. I like to call her the personality of Sekhmet associated with protection of the home, fertility, music, dance and domestic life. She is the home cat – Sekhmet, in ancient tradition, could not be contained in the home. I explain all of this in my course, Work With the Ancient Neters of Egypt.
The atmosphere is remarkably joyful and still very active. Although the temple now lies in ruins, I could almost feel the celebrations and enormous festivals for which Bubastis was once famous. I made some private offerings and set intentions in the Holy of Holies.
The visit also transformed the way I look at Egyptian stone and the significance of different types of stone in transmitting energy – I will be adding this to my teachings.
10 August | Tuna el-Gebel in the landscape of Djehuti Thoth
We made the long journey deep into the desert of Middle Egypt, to Tuna el-Gebel, the necropolis associated with ancient Hermopolis and the cult of Djehuti Thoth.
Before arriving, I had been studying Petosiris, the High Priest of Djehuti Thoth, whose remarkable intact tomb stands there. I had researched prayers in the ancient Kemetic language to both Djehuti Thoth and Petosiris. I had woken at 2am and was guided to do the research and get the prayers correct – the spoken word is so important, and I cover more on this in my teachings.
The atmosphere was powerful from the moment I entered. I recited my prayers of observance and permission to enter. My body was electrified. There was no other visitor at this very remote site – we had walked across the desert in temperatures of around 42°C.
On entering the tomb of Petosiris, I said my prayers and was immediately overcome by such a strong force that it literally made me feel sick. I understood it was energetic and not hostile, just very powerful. I received a message straight from Petosiris – that we had served together, and that our energy meeting again was essential for my continued service to Djehuti Thoth. I literally had to push through the discomfort to receive it.
We then made our way across the open desert towards the underground animal catacombs, where offerings to Djehuti Thoth were made. Enormous numbers of sacred ibises and baboons were once interred there and still remain in part, as miles of the catacombs have not been explored even to this day.
Descending beneath the desert into these ancient passages was extraordinary. The energy was so powerful – not overwalked – and I was surrounded by bats flying through the tunnels at great speed and such accuracy, missing my head by centimetres. I was fearless, understanding it was part of the test – was I ready to receive the next level of channel upgrade, and open my Heka to a whole new level? I was! It was wonderful.
The temple guard handed me an ancient mummified ibis to place as my offering. When this happened, I was transported back thousands of years to when I had done this before. It was clear.
I was then led to the underground chapel of Djehuti Thoth and had the most beautiful private time – I received many downloads for my continued work in this dimension. I had stepped back in time to my ancient past. Here, the Djehuti current that had begun so strongly for me inside the Great Pyramid deepened further. I spent time in contemplation and came away having written pages of notes concerning teaching, writing, knowledge, Heka and the future direction of my work.
The journey was beginning to reveal a pattern. Each site was weaving a direction for my personal development, my work and my service – opening up my students and ceremonial participants to this ancient wisdom and these rituals. I am taking the work to a whole new level. I have been instructed, and am honoured to be chosen to do this work - again!
11 August | Abydos: Rebirth & remembrance
Abydos has always been one of the most important sacred places in Egypt for me. Before I even understood its significance, I had an extraordinary experience at the Osireion there in 2018, involving what I understood as a profound remembrance connected with ritual and transmission. I call this "learning in reverse" – the major experience happens, and only afterwards do you discover its significance. It's such an affirmation.
Abydos is known as one of the oldest and most important sacred sites in Egypt, with a history stretching back more than 5,000 years. Long before the surviving Temple of Seti I was built around 1300 BCE, Egypt's earliest kings were buried nearby at Umm el-Qa'ab, and some of the earliest evidence of Egyptian writing has been discovered in the area.
Over time, Abydos became associated with Osiris, god of death, regeneration and rebirth. The ancient Egyptians believed that the head of Osiris was buried there (as I do), transforming Abydos into one of Egypt's greatest pilgrimage destinations. People travelled from across the country to participate symbolically in the mysteries of death and renewal, sleeping in dream chambers – all of which I explain in detail in my Egyptian Temple Rites workshop at The College of Psychic Studies.
The later Temple of Seti I reflects this extraordinary sacred heritage through its seven parallel inner sanctuaries – in essence, seven Holy of Holies – while the mysterious Osireion behind the temple evokes the primeval waters, the Nun, from which creation emerged. I cover all of this in my Neterju course.
This energy of worship, and thousands of years of pilgrimage and ritual, make Abydos a place that still carries a profound energetic presence - this temple is very much alive! I have returned every year since 2023, since my Heka awakening in 2018. It's a remote site, a five-hour drive into the deep desert – not an easy journey, but as with anything in this work, no pain, no gain. I was in open-eyed meditation for most of the journey, looking at the expanse of sand and cliffs. I was returning in 2026 to seal unfinished work.
I arrived at Abydos. This time I deliberately asked my guide to stay back – I needed to enter the temple in silence and walk all the sacred chambers on my own. I was here to receive. The temple was empty apart from the guards at the entrance, so I had a complete activation. Djehuti Thoth had explained in great detail, on the drive there, how I should walk the temple.
I worked through all seven inner sanctuaries – seven Holy of Holies, a very unique layout. In each space I stood within the shafts of light, first facing them and then turning. In ancient practice, we are opened from the front of the head and then receive through the back of the head – I follow this in my Way of the Ankh rituals; it's important to follow protocol.
The experience became one of profound inner recalibration, as though old layers were being stripped away and something new was being revealed. I was being reconfigured on all levels – Ka, Ba and Akh, the three ancient levels of being that I cover in my Neterju course.
Abydos was one of the pivotal moments of the pilgrimage. For thousands of years it was one of Egypt's great pilgrimage destinations, intimately connected with Osiris, death, regeneration and rebirth. Standing there, I understood why.
The Osireion & the Flower of Life
Before leaving, I returned to the extraordinary Osireion – the location of my first channelling experience all those years ago in 2018, where I had an open-eye vision of myself working as a channel and high priest in this space.
The Flower of Life is carved into its ancient walls. Last year I was guided to place this sacred-geometric symbol all over my home, and I explain more about this in my Temple Rites workshop. I have also been guided to use it on a Sekhmet Sigil Deck I have created, launching this autumn. Sacred geometry has been part of my practice for many years, but this visit revealed a new significance for the symbol in my practice.
I left Abydos reborn!
Dendera - Joy, Hathor & the Return of Lightness
From Abydos we continued to Dendera and the magnificent Temple of Hathor. The energetic contrast could not have been greater. After the profound, transformational atmosphere I had experienced at Abydos, Dendera felt almost like arriving at a celebration. Hathor is an aspect of Sekhmet associated with love, music, beauty, joy and the celestial realms, and the temple carries an extraordinary lightness despite its monumental scale.
I explored its significant sacred areas and crypts, and spent time simply absorbing the atmosphere. Something else had begun to change too. I noticed that I felt calmer – more willing to allow events to unfold rather than constantly attempting to control their direction. My guide and driver were having a discussion about timing to get back to Cairo. Normally I would be very involved, but I just let it be. For me, that was important. Transformation is easy to proclaim after a powerful activation. It becomes much more interesting when you begin observing it in your ordinary behaviour.
I felt the whole Dendera experience was preparing me for the full throttle of Sekhmet's power the next morning.
12 August | Karnak: Sekhmet at Dawn
The most important ceremonial morning of the pilgrimage began before sunrise. On 12 August, the day of the 2026 total solar eclipse elsewhere in the world, I entered Karnak in darkness for private time with Sekhmet. The planetary line-up was visible in the night sky, and Orion was hovering above the temple site – a massive gate, and such a cosmic welcome. I work with the gates of Orion. Walking through the enormous temple complex before dawn, with morning prayers sounding in the distance, is a most magical experience.
I entered Sekhmet's chamber to proceed with my private ritual and to receive new codes to use in my Sekhmet ceremonial and healing work. She told me to use my real priestess name in ritual – "now it's time." I had been given the name last year, and she said that when my energy was in line, I could use it. Now was the time.
The experience was deeply transformational, and much of it I cannot share.
I left the chamber as dawn was beginning, my rebirth and upgrades to my channel firmly in place – Sa Sekhem Sahu.
Temple of Khonsu
From Sekhmet's chamber I continued through the ancient temple complex of Karnak. On this day of the solar eclipse, rather than heading directly to the Temple of Mut as I normally would, I was guided first to the Temple of Khonsu.
Khonsu and Djehuti Thoth share an ancient lunar connection: both are associated with the Moon, the measurement of time, and the ordered movement of the heavens. The presence of Djehuti Thoth's sacred baboons within the Temple of Khonsu made that relationship very obvious – it was here that I received another profound download from Djehuti Thoth regarding my channelling gift.
Djehuti Thoth guides and teaches me how to deliver the ancient wisdom to my students – he is literally working through me as I write. Sometimes I reread my lesson notes and think, did I write that? Clearly not – it is him.
Sekhmet channels through me to bring her mighty power and strength to those who sit with me in ceremony and healing, aligning them with their highest vibration and true purpose in this incarnation.
It felt important on this particular day to bring the immense solar power of Sekhmet into balance with the lunar current of Khonsu – the power of the Sun meeting the power of the Moon, mirroring the celestial union of the solar eclipse. It certainly was the right thing to do.
Temple of Mut
The Temple of Mut contains numerous statues of Sekhmet, including an imposing seated Sekhmet in a much more open environment, where the sun shines on her in full force.
Many of these statues date to the reign of Amenhotep III, who commissioned an extraordinary number of images of Sekhmet – possibly more than 700 – creating what has been interpreted as a vast ritual calendar, with the goddess invoked throughout every day of the year. Following the destruction of Amenhotep III's great mortuary temple, probably after a major earthquake, many of these sacred statues were preserved and relocated to other Theban temples, with a substantial number eventually finding a home within the Temple of Mut.
Here, rather than entering another enclosed sanctuary, I met Sekhmet beneath the open sky. There were birds, morning air and sunlight.
And I realised something surprisingly important. My practice at Egyptian sacred sites was becoming simpler. For years I had sometimes used crystals and physical objects to create energetic connections between sacred places. I had been instructed to create a worldwide crystal grid over the last five years, placing crystals at the significant sites I visited across the world.
During this journey I was instructed by both Sekhmet and Djehuti Thoth that there is no longer any need to place crystals – the energy has changed. My new instruction is to carry one crystal with me, to record the information I energetically need. Interestingly, I had taken a mini Lemurian crystal that sits on my giant Lemurian mother crystal at home – I was told in meditation before I left on this trip to bring it home to reconnect with the mother crystal. This really made sense. I took it with me to all the sites and touched the ground with it, with intention, and have now placed it back on "the Motherboard" (as it calls itself) on my return.
The New Message
Ancient sacred objects do not need to be touched by hand or body anymore to connect. The intention is what is needed, and the focus. Sacred places do not need objects left behind. Perhaps the most powerful offering we can make is far simpler: attention, respect, intention and love. We are moving out of the 3D, truly into the 5D.
The power of harnessing our thoughts and directing this power is the new skill we have to master. I already hold courses in Hermetic and Alchemical transformation, guided by Djehuti Thoth. The next round of these teachings next year will be essential for all those wanting to make the very most of this incredible power of the mind, and for preparing and upgrading for the ceremonial rituals I hold at The College of Psychic studies.
Following the Sun
As we left the Temple of Mut, my guide showed me an alignment through the temple landscape associated with the Sun and the Winter Solstice. This stopped me in my tracks, as this is the route I will take participants on in my Winter Solstice ritual. I will explain all about this in my Winter Solstice Karnak Ritual.
13 August | Returning to Giza
The following morning I returned to Cairo and the Great Pyramid. I wanted to close the pilgrimage by reversing the opening journey: beginning inside the pyramid, and eventually returning to the Sphinx.
Once again, the King's Chamber was initially busy. I quietly crossed the central area seven times as part of my personal closing practice. Then, extraordinarily, the chamber emptied again! The same guard who had encountered me earlier in the week recognised me.
This time I did not need another long meditation. I simply stood there and enjoyed the silence, giving my respect and deep gratitude. Sometimes there is nothing more to ask for.
On leaving the Great Pyramid, I discovered that one of the smaller pyramids was open – known as a sound-healing pyramid. I descended inside and found myself alone. The acoustics were extraordinary. I recorded a video in the outer chamber to capture the vibration. I went deeper into the belly of the pyramid and sounded Om three times, dedicating it to world peace, harmony and peace within the hearts of humanity. The sound reverberated through the chamber, and I felt it reverberate all over the world, carried by my intention and this very sacred location. I followed it with vocal code work from my Sekhmet practice, but this time I did not film. The moment did not need an audience.
Finally, I returned to the Sphinx. And there, I closed the pilgrimage.
Coming home changed
I went to Egypt expecting a magical journey. I returned understanding that it had been a journey of rebirth and remembrance.
Giza opened the work and deepened my connection with Djehuti Thoth.
Bubastis brought joy and the feline mysteries, revealing Sekhmet's playful personality.
Tuna el-Gebel further deepened my relationship with Djehuti Thoth and the mysteries of wisdom and Heka.
Abydos became the great threshold of death, regeneration and rebirth.
Dendera returned joy and lightness.
Karnak brought the work into culmination through my private Sekhmet ritual, and the new codes I received to share in my ceremonies and healings. A balance of the Sun and Moon on the solar eclipse, then connecting with Djehuti Thoth as the seal.
And finally, Giza closed the circle.
I returned to London with notebooks full of material, and new ceremonial work already beginning to take shape for The College of Psychic Studies. But beneath all of that is something much simpler. The temples reminded me that transformation is not merely something we experience inside sacred spaces. The real work begins when we carry it home. We are the temple. ♥🔥
