The Shamanic Path - Finding Healing through Meaning, Purpose and Service

The Shamanic Path - Finding Healing through Meaning, Purpose and Service

Jez Hughes
Saturday 11 May 2019
10:00am - 5:00pm

The modern world, through our cosmological understanding of our place in the universe, stands on an existential crisis of lack of meaning. This is affecting both the mental and physical health of people. Without meaning, it is difficult to find purpose in life and both are traditionally seen as essential to health.

Shamanistic cultures offer us a gift, in that their whole worldview is imbued with meaning and purpose. The landscape and everything that surrounds them is alive, full of signs that can be read and interpreted, with humans sitting at the heart of a complicated ecological and spiritual relationship with all of life.

In this workshop we will focus on using shamanic techniques of trance and ceremony, to assist you in revealing deeper meaning in your lives.

This will include bringing understanding to difficult and painful, past experiences.

We will also explore how this meaning can direct your actions to bring a much greater sense of life purpose.

This can help you to truly be of service to spirit, to your loved ones, your communities and the wider world and bring great healing.
