From dreams to drugs, altered states repeatedly give rise to occasional inexplicable experiences of future events.

But what of those predictions arising from the sober passages of consciousness?

And can we ever know genuinely, what will happen before it does, or are we destined to only ever drive forwards looking in the rear-view mirror, only finding out what is prophesied after the fact?

Drawing from the last 137 years of scientific psychical research and parapsychology, and the speaker's own extensive research, we will attempt to discover if the divinatory and mantic arts are due to romantic hearts and self-delusion or if scientific rigour can demonstrate true prescience.

In this talk David will explain what is currently understood about the nature of precognition, divination, and prophecy, and the techniques that have been demonstrated to seemingly aid these abilities.

This talk is taking place in-person at our college in London
