Visiting us from Egypt, join Dr John Ward for this unique talk as he takes us on an adventure of a life time and immerse yourself in ancient Egyptian mythology, legends and spirituality.

It is every archaeologists dream to discover a Temple, or some other lost sacred site belonging to some long forgotten Pharaoh or Queen, but this is what exactly happened for John and the rest of the Gebel el Silsila team in Egypt during the spring season of 2015. All of their dreams were to become reality with the discovery of what has become quickly an internationally renowned discovery of major historical significance.

But what is the significance of this amazing sacred site and more importantly what function or role did it serve within the ancient Egyptian religion. What role can it play in the spiritual and esoteric understanding of Egyptian religion amongst its modern day practitioners? What can we learn from the unique architectural elements that were discovered on the site and their role in the actual ceremonial practices that took place within its confined decorated walls?

John will share with us what it means to literally walk upon the foundations of a sacred site that has spanned and possibly witnessed the presence of arguably three of the most controversial and significant Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt's history '" Queen Hatshepsut, the infamous female Pharaoh, Amenhotep III, father to Ankhanaten, and Rameses II the Pharaoh of the Exodus.

During the evening John will share with us other amazing discoveries which have yet to become public knowledge, which will again raise varying questions regarding the archetypes of spirituality, and the collective unconsciousness in the modern 21st century.
