Druid Mysteries

Philip Carr-Gomm
Friday 9 October
7:00pm - 8:30pm

Join Philip Carr-Gomm, Head of the Order of the Bards, Ovates and Druids for an evening exploring the beliefs and practices of Druids today and Druidry’s relevance to our contemporary world.

Druidry is a spiritual way and practice that speaks to three of our greatest yearnings:

  • To be fully creative in our lives
  • to commune deeply with the world of Nature
  • to gain access to a source of profound wisdom.

Philip Carr-Gomm

Philip began studying Druidry as a spiritual path with Ross Nichols, the founder of The Order of the Bards, Ovates and Druids.

Later he took a degree in psychology from University College London, and trained in psychotherapy for adults at The institute of Psychosynthesis. In 1988 Philip was asked to lead The Order of the Bards, Ovates and Druids.

Although his spiritual practice is rooted in Druidry, Philip believes that we have entered an era in which we can move beyond attachment to labels, drawing instead upon the Perennial Tradition, being inspired by the wisdom in all spiritual paths and teachings - following the Way of the Universal Mystic. Philip is also particularly interested in ways in which we can preserve and protect the natural world for future generations.
