Alchemy is the ancient art of spiritual transformation, a means to realise the infinite potential of our true being.
The Philosophers stone, which J K Rowling introduces in the first Harry Potter adventure is very much the holy grail of alchemy and represents enlightenment of the spirit and the ultimate conquering of death.
There are seven alchemical rays, or stages, that relate to the stages of inner transformation and enlightenment.
Revealed to Edwin during a very dark time in his life by his spiritual teacher the Merlin, Edwin attests that it was these alchemical forces that saved him and enabled him to find the power and courage to transform his life and finally pursue his dreams and passions.
This evening will include an overview of the seven alchemical rays and the Azoth, a meditative mandala used by the Alchemists which originates from the Middle Ages. There will also be a meditation and live trance channeling from the spirit of Merlin.
