Sleep plays such a crucial role in healing our body and mind, as well as providing us with an opportunity to process and integrate events that have happened in our life. But with the pace of life speeding up, increasing demands on us and explosive stress levels, many of us struggle with some form of insomnia or difficulty in sleeping.
We struggle to switch off and let go. Well, here is your opportunity to do just that.
In this workshop we practice kundalini yoga kriyas and meditations to help us conquer our sleeping patterns, and to tap into the sublime radiance that results from a good night's sleep.
We will experience yoga nidra, a deep and profoundly relaxing technique of wakeful sleep, allowing us to leave the workshop feeling bright, fresh and ready to take on the world.
This workshop is for everyone, regardless of level or ability. You may find some of the movements challenging but always worth your best efforts.
There will be chairs available for those who find it uncomfortable sitting on the floor/yoga mat for extended periods of time. Please wear comfy clothes appropriate for movement.
I have worked with many styles of yoga - from Ashtanga to Vinyasa for more than ten years and teach Kundalini and general hatha yoga. When not teaching yoga I write regular magazine features for Om Yoga, Yoga and Everyday Health.
