This workshop is open to all qualified healers.

This unique two-day workshop provides practical skills and an understanding of how to deliver healing, reiki or energy therapy in a hospital or hospice.

The workshop has been designed from the experiences of Angie and Graham Buxton-King who were employed as healers within University College London Hospital (UCLH) for 12 years.

On completion of the workshop you will be able to:

  • Identify and approach a statutory setting (NHS Hospital or Hospice)
  • Be able to identify infection control issues
  • Understand the need to adapt your therapy within a formal setting
  • Understand professional boundaries and when referral is required to another member of the Multi-Discipline Team
  • Create a portfolio suitable to present to a hospital or hospice
  • Understand voluntary self-regulation and the structure of the NHS

Delivery methods: Discussion, healing practice, group work, All of the profits received by Angie from this workshop will go to support the continuing expansion of healers in hospitals and hospices via The Sam Buxton Sunflower Healing Trust.

This workshop is accredited by the Sam Buxton Sunflower Healing Trust. The trust was created by Angie and Graham in 2006 to provide funds for hospitals and hospices to employ healers to work with cancer and end of life patients alongside conventional medicine. The charity was created as a living tribute to Angie's son Sam, who passed away on the 5th August 1998, age 10, from Leukaemia. Healing supported Sam through his journey.

This workshop is taking place in-person at our college in London

You can find the address and travel directions on our contact page - we'll also include all the information in your enrolment email.
