COLLEGE INTEGRATED HEALING DIPLOMA COURSE
Details of the College's Integrated Healing Diploma Course (CIHDC).
What is Healing?
Living beings have an innate ability to achieve a perfect state of balance in body, mind & spirit. The purpose of spiritual healing is to enhance, empower and assist this ability so that the individual may find their own point of balance. The healer acts as the channel for the healing energies in order to help bring this about.
Healing may be given for any illness, stress or injury as a complementary therapy without any side effects. No specific religious or spiritual beliefs are required. Similarly, healing recognises no distinction of race, class, sex or religion.
Healing is not a magic wand that can make all well. It is a process that involves your commitment and although the healer will seek to work with you, healing cannot be imposed by the healer. A willingness to change is the fundamental requirement in the healing process. No guarantee can or will be made about the outcome of healing.
College Register of Accredited Healers
The College Register of Accredited Healers is a register consisting of qualified healers* who have accredited at the College and who also have current College membership, current healing insurance and have declared to have up-to-date CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
This Register consists of healing professionals whose standard adhere to the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Healing and who agree to abide to UK Healers (the College's regulatory body for healing) which is recognised by the General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapy (GRCCT).
As part of our registration requirements it is a condition that all of our members hold appropriate insurance to cover their healing. Proof of insurance is submitted to us at accreditation and at each annual renewal after that. However, The College of Psychic Studies will take no responsibility should a member's insurance be discontinued at any time throughout the year after submitting their insurance documents to us.
