What to expect

Lie back on the mat and relax into the cosy space that Heather lovingly holds for you, and immerse yourself in healing sounds designed to rejuvenate, restore and uplift your energy. This calming session invites you to disconnect from everyday stress, settle into stillness, and allow the vibrations and frequency of sounds and gentle chants to envelop you. This evening's carefully curated soundscape will harmonise your energy and foster a sense of tranquility and wellbeing.

This in-person sound healing includes:

• A yoga mat, pillow and blanket provided (you are also welcome to bring your own, along with an eye mask, to enhance the experience)

Meet your tutor, Heather McDonald

With over 20 years in cancer care and many more on the spiritual path, Heather McDonald's travels have taken her on journeys of self-discovery and healing across the world – from 26 days of silent Vipassana meditation in a Buddhist temple in Northern Thailand, to sitting with shamans in the jungles of Peru, to receiving her first sacred drum on her travels in Africa. She has incorporated drumming into her own meditation and holistic practice ever since, and now offers therapeutic sacred drum sessions for individuals and groups. A College of Psychic Studies alumna trained under Gerrie March, registered healer, ordained interfaith minister and founder of Sacred Crossings – supporting people approaching end of life – Heather brings a rare depth of lived experience, spiritual wisdom and compassionate care to this evening of sound healing.
