Join us at The College of Psychic Studies for a FREE evening of mingling and merriment celebrating a year of magic with The Discombobulator, the luxury esoteric journal and creative playground of the inimitable artist Andrea Aste.
This free, in-person evening marks the publication of the journal's first two issues, both released in 2026, with presentations from some of the esteemed contributors to one or both editions. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or a soft drink as you mingle in the library with Andrea Aste and friends, and pick up your own copies of the magazine. The College's exhibition rooms will also be open throughout the evening, with plenty more unseen and unexpected treasures to discover.
To discombobulate: to amusingly confuse, delightfully bewilder or cheerfully knock someone off their usual track. It's the kind of playful chaos that stirs the imagination, tickles the intellect and leaves you blinking – but smiling. A spark ignited by unexpected twists, wild ideas and a particularly mischievous sense of wonder.
Presenters include:
- Silvia O'Donovan: Esoteric journalist, tarot expert, Youtuber at Fairlight Tarot
- Anastasia Kashian: Author and artist: Dinosaures de Marseille, The Magic Lantern Sybilla, The Marginal Lenormand
- Andrea Aste: Multimedia artist, author, tarot scholar: The Book of Shadows: An Alchemist's Story, The Ghastly Lenormand
- Tarot Jo: Tarot author and teacher
- Kate Laity: Scholar, author and filmmaker: The Art of Drawing Cards and the Tarot
- Maria Alviz Hernando: Writer: Tarot Tableau Revolution
Book now to celebrate with us, mingle with a like-minded community, meet the magazine that feels like a party in printed form, and purchase the most recent issues of The Discombobulator.
