This workshop is led by Carmen Turner-Schott, MSW, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker and astrologer who has spent 30 years researching astrology, trauma, mental health and spirituality. She is the author of 12 books, including dedicated studies of the 8th and 12th houses, so she brings both clinical training and deep specialist knowledge to this material.

What to expect

This experiential workshop blends psychological astrology with trauma-informed insight and goes well beyond surface-level interpretation. You will journey through the archetypal energies of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces and explore how Water energy operates in the nervous system, in relationships and in the subconscious mind. Carmen will guide you in relating these themes to your own birth chart and offer grounded, practical ways to work with Water energy. Meet your tutor, Carmen Turner-Schott

Carmen Turner-Schott, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker, astrologer, author, speaker and teacher with clients across the US and internationally. For three decades she has studied where astrology meets healing, trauma, mental health and spirituality. She is especially known for her work on the 8th and 12th houses. She has both houses emphasised in her own chart, so she knows their lessons from lived experience as well as research.

Carmen has written 12 books on astrology and spiritual understanding, including The Mysteries of the Eighth Astrological House, The Mysteries of the Twelfth Astrological House, Phoenixes and Angels, Sun Signs, Houses & Healing and Your Astrological Energy. She hosts a weekly live show, Signs in the Sun, Moon & Stars, on Bold Brave TV, and runs the Deep Soul Divers community for people with strong 8th and 12th house placements. She also offers private consultations that draw on astrology, psychology and counselling. Her combination of clinical training and astrological expertise makes her an ideal guide to the emotional territory of the Water element.
