Intuitive Iris Reading

This in-person workshop with renowned iridologist Peter Jackson-Main invites you to discover the hidden messages written in your own eyes, and to use the iris as a powerful tool for developing your psychic intuition.

The iris of the human eye has been used in healing for over 100 years as a method of understanding the individual. No two irises are alike, not even in identical twins, so your iris pattern is entirely unique to you. Beyond its traditional use in natural medicine, the iris can be read as a map of personality, emotion, life lessons and soul purpose, offering a fascinating mirror for self-discovery.

Peter has spent over 40 years working in natural medicine and has devoted many years to refining a method of revealing the deeper messages held within our iris patterns. He is the creator of Iris Counselling and the author of two books on iridology, making him the ideal guide to this rich and insightful practice.

What to expect

This is a friendly, pracital and interactive workshop. You'll begin with an illustrated introduction to typical iris patterns and what they reveal, before having your own eyes photographed (with your permission) so you can explore your unique pattern for yourself. Peter will introduce you to Iris Counselling, a method of using the iris to open a healing conversation that inspires and empowers, and you'll put your learning into practice through guided one-to-one sessions designed to strengthen your intuition and psychic awareness.

This in-person workshop includes:

• An introductory slideshow exploring typical iris patterns and their meanings, presenting the iris as your personal mandala
• Simple methods for photographing the iris for ease of viewing, with each participant's eyes photographed and shared with them
• Insights into your own unique iris pattern, including your skills, talents, lessons and focus in life
• An introduction to Iris Counselling, a method of using the iris to facilitate an inspiring and empowering healing conversation
• The importance of positive, empowering language when working with the iris
• Guidance on viewing the iris, with or without technical aids
• One-to-one guided practice sessions to develop intuition and psychic awareness in relation to the iris
• A fact sheet with illustrations of typical iris patterns to take home

Meet your tutor, Peter Jackson-Main

Peter has been involved in natural medicine for over 40 years, beginning his training straight after graduating from Cambridge University in the 1970s. Alongside herbal medicine, he has trained in reflexology, massage, aromatherapy, polarity therapy and humanistic psychotherapy, and holds a Master of Science degree exploring ethnobotany and traditional medicine. One of the UK's most prominent practitioners and teachers, he is Academic Director and Herbal Medicine Course Director at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and has advised at government level on herbal medicine legislation. His special interest in iridology led him to develop Iris Counselling, an approach centred on self-evaluation and empowerment. His book Practical Iridology, first published in 2004, was released in an expanded edition in 2023, and his second book on the subject, The Mind's Eye, followed in 2024.
