Candle Magic for Love & Prosperity

Light a flame, set an intention, work a little magic... This two-part livestream workshop introduces you to the ancient art of candle magic.

Candles have been used for centuries as a means to bring light and as a symbol of purity, divinity and protection. There are various ways we can use candles in our spellcraft, whether that is making the candle using moulds and incorporating herbs and crystals into the finished tool, or inscribing our intent into the wax of a pre-made candle.

What to expect

This two-part workshop explores the art of charging candles with anointing oil, looking at the different materials and colours that can be used to support specific intentions – love, prosperity, healing, wisdom and spiritual growth. You'll learn the fundamentals of candle magic and create your own spell candle along the way. Together, in the company of this kindred group, we'll each set our intention, charge our candle using ingredients and methods suited to our spell, and open the space for that magic to unfold.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for anyone curious about candle magic and spellcraft, whether new to the practice or looking to deepen an existing one. Come with an intention that you wish to work on. No prior experience is necessary.

• You will need a taper candle that you can inscribe and some essential oils. 
• Optional: You are also welcome to bring along a beeswax candle sheet.

Meet your tutor, Tia Price

PhD candidate Tia Price is a tarot reader with more than 25 years' experience. She holds an MA in Death, Religion & Culture and has presented her research at conferences around the world, bringing an academic depth to her intuitive practice. Clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient, Tia has spent decades honing her own gifts across tarot, healing and spiritual protection work, and is passionate about helping others develop their unique abilities in turn.

Exclusively live online event

We will not be recording this workshop. One of the unique aspects of the College's online events is that they are highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to discuss and share with the tutor and the group. These sharings can be very personal, and some may not feel comfortable with them being recorded.
