In this 2-part livestream workshop, we will locate the thresholds to the otherworld, and investigate ancient Norse practices to open these magical portals, step through them, and explore what lies beyond.

Traditionally, the otherworlds are accessed through portals in the landscape, such as henge and stone circles, lonely rivers, sacred groves, remote hills, deep forests, and even empty alleyways and overgrown gardens. These portals take us to the Tree of Life, Yggdrasil. This mythic tree encompasses nine sacred worlds, each populated by elves, gods and goddesses, trolls, giants, serpents, dragons, squirrels and eagles, nature spirits and much more.

In this 2-part livestream workshop, we will turn to music, runes, myths and deep imagination to navigate these otherworlds. We will explore these worlds through stories and guided visual meditations. Our adventures will be accompanied by harmonies from the lyre, flute, drum and 'galder' singing (similar to mantras).

Book now to join independent scholar of Norse mythology Andreas Kornevall on the adventure of a lifetime. Along the way, you'll meet magical and supernatural beings who can offer precious wisdom, accompanied by Andreas' wonderful music skills.

"I loved working with Andreas. He has great sensitivity and a wide range of material to share."

"I can't express what an excellent tutor and how knowledgeable Andreas was. The event exceeded my expectations."

"That was a great class! I was very surprised by what I would learn and how much I would gather. While I'm familiar with many spiritual practices, I am not at all with Nordic magic. I've read a few things here and there — the poetry aspect and runes was a very pleasant surprise to me. 5 stars - outstanding, as always."

"Andreas is a fabulous teacher with a rich reservoir of knowledge to draw upon. He's a fabulous addition to the College! So happy that you are offering virtual experiences."

"Andreas Kornevall was extremely knowledgeable and passionate and I really enjoyed the journey."

"Extremely interesting workshop, well-presented, accessible and informative."
