Join Norse storyteller Andreas Kornevall at the College in London for a deep dive into the ancient runes. Discover their history, their poetry and the various rune scripts and rune rows from across the ages.
Come and discover the metaphysical nature of runes. Andreas will guide you on an exploration into the runes' perceived symbolism, both traditional and esoteric. You will experience how their graphic element can guide us into our deepest imagination and into the runes' mythic origin, the sacred tree, Yggdrasil.
We will also examine rune readings. Andreas will demonstrate rune readings to show how they work. By doing this, he guides you through the doorway to access an oracular language using various techniques. We will also look at runic talismans from the ancient world and how to unearth some of their hidden meanings.
During this experiential day at the College, there will be plenty of lively conversation, including how we communicated our sense of meaning before literacy took hold.
