We tell ourselves about our own biographies through the items we own. In turn, others interpret our objects and consume them as extensions of us. This in-person workshop is a fascinating exploration of our objects, including how to 'read' them.
We all have objects around us. We covet and acquire various items, form attachments to 'things' we cannot live without. These objects can range from highly valuable items which demonstrate our tastes, to minor, seemingly trivial items - a ticket stub which represented 'the perfect day out' - and the associated memories we draw from the intangible item.
Join us at The College of Psychic Studies to dive deeper into the fascinating power of objects, and discover what our objects can reveal about ourselves and others through 'object reading' and psychometry.
This in-person workshop includes:
- The ways we build relationships with objects
- Our biases and expectations about an object
- How to 'read' objects
- Observing not absorbing
- A guided experience of psychometry
This workshop includes discussion, sharing, practice and guided meditation. We will also unpack various fascinating theories from academic discourse related to object-subject relationships.
Book now to understand what objects can reveal about ourselves and others in this fascinating workshop with Tia Price.
