This in-person workshop offers a fascinating experiential introduction to automatic art and spirit communication.
Through spontaneous mark-making, we will discover ways of connecting with spirit, spirit communication and healing. We will use various automatic techniques that will enable you to experience and delight in different energies that want to connect with us.
This in-person workshop includes:
- Experimenting with the fluidity of watercolour
- The surrealist technique of decalcomania
- The extraordinary technique of "rising pictures" originally developed by Rudolf Steiner
- Gain inspiration from automatic artists and movements such as:
- Georgiana Houghton
- The Japanese Gutai group
- Abstract Expressionism
- Ithell Colquhoun's Taro
Movement, meditation and journeying will be incorporated to support you in your process of automatic art and spirit connection.
