Understand Grief & Trauma with Tarot

In this livestream workshop, we explore grief and trauma through the lens of tarot, not to rush to fix what hurts, but to learn how to sit with it, honour it and read it with depth, care and integrity.

Grief can arise through bereavement, relationship breakdowns, illness, career loss or major life changes. Trauma often weaves alongside these experiences. While models such as the five stages of grief can offer insight, real life is rarely neat or linear. Tarot gives us a rich, symbolic language for navigating what cannot always be easily spoken.

In this workshop, we will explore how certain cards may surface in grief and trauma-related readings and how they can be worked with sensitively rather than feared or avoided. We will look at how these archetypes mirror emotional processes, thresholds, shock, endings, withdrawal, healing and renewal.

This livestream workshop includes:

• Practical tools and tarot spreads for professional and personal use

We will work with specially designed tarot spreads, guided reflection and personal exploration in a safe and supportive setting.

• This workshop is designed for all levels and soul-led seekers who want to feel more confident around themes of loss, trauma or emotional upheaval, whether for themselves or in supporting others.
• You are welcome to bring the Rider–Waite deck or a deck of your choice.

We will not be recording this workshop. One of the unique aspects of the College's online events is that they are highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to discuss and share with the tutor and the group. These sharings can be very personal, and some may not feel comfortable with them being recorded.
