Elevate your tarot readings by working with pattern recognition and the visual language of the cards in this in-person workshop.
Tarot can be an ideal tool for pattern recognition and meaning-making. We naturally organise visual elements into a cohesive whole by grouping and creating patterns. This workshop teaches you to harness this natural ability to bring more meaning to your tarot readings.
In this workshop, we will focus on enriching our visual language: how do we see and how do we name? By working with Gestalt principles of perception and a combination of different tarot decks, we will focus on key practices to enhance visual hierarchy and intuitive storytelling.
This in-person workshop includes:
- Similarity (grouping like items)
- Proximity (grouping close items)
- Closure (filling in gaps)
- Figure/ground (separating objects from backgrounds)
We will explore free association, predictions, decision-making and more through discussion, pair work and guided practices.
Book now to deepen your relationship with the tarot and develop a more nuanced approach to reading the cards.
