Tarot 101: Kings & Queens

Befriend the eight monarchs of the Cups, Wands, Swords & Pentacles tarot suits in this livestream workshop.

In this workshop, you will gain knowledge and understanding of each king and queen in the tarot court cards. You'll examine them both as standalone cards, and within the wider context of a tarot spread.

This online workshop includes:

• Comparing and contrasting historical kings and queens to the characteristics of those in tarot suits
• Sharing ideas, insights and experiences with others
• Developing confidence around using these cards 
• Exploring the theme of monarchy and leadership traits in the court cards

We will also practise using them with some case study material presentations that people may bring when attending a reading with you.

You will need:

• A tarot deck of your choice, though we will predominantly work with the Rider Waite deck.
• A notebook and pen.

• This workshop is open to all, whether complete beginner or seasoned tarot reader.

We will not be recording this workshop. One of the unique aspects of the College's online events is that they are highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to discuss and share with the tutor and the group. These sharings can be very personal, and some may not feel comfortable with them being recorded.
