Explore tarot and psychogeography as tools for mapping our outer and inner landscapes in this livestream workshop with Bel Senlle.
Psychogeography is the study of how geographical environments shape our emotions, while tarot offers a symbolic language for reading our inner emotional terrain. Brought together, they open up a form of cartomancy that reads landscape ritualistically and environmentally – turning the gaze toward hidden, neglected and contested spaces rather than just familiar landmarks.
What to expect
This workshop offers a new lens on both practices: a way to use tarot not just for personal insight, but as a tool for reading and relating to place, and to use the streets and spaces around us as a mirror for what's happening within. The format is exploratory and image-led, moving between symbolic tarot work and psychogeographic walking/mapping concepts. Bel will invite you to explore your own city or town and imaginary spaces as extensions of your inner landscapes. We can intervene in these inner landscapes in a variety of ways, simply with a pack of tarot cards and the power of imagination.

Meet your tutor, Bel Senlle
Bel Senlle is a London-based Argentinian artist, tarot reader and esoteric teacher, and the creator of the Claridad tarot deck (published in English by Watkins and distributed by Penguin Random House). Bel has presented at international esoteric conferences across Europe and the Americas, and her work explores the intersection of art, ritual and visual magic. With a deep grounding in plant spirit communication and intuitive, alchemical herbalism, Bel brings both artistic sensitivity and practical experience to guiding students into a living relationship with the plant world.
