Photo of Jacqui McIntosh

As Archivist & Curator, Jacqui McIntosh cares for The College of Psychic Studies' large collection of spirit-inspired art, photography and artefacts, dating from 1850 to the present day.

Independently, Jacqui is a researcher, curator and writer. Her research encompasses feminist, mediumistic and esoteric histories, with a particular interest in artists whose spiritual development has evolved in tandem with their artistic output.

Jacqui's current research areas include the drawings and works on paper of British artist and occultist Ithell Colquhoun. From 2023-2024 Jacqui was a recipient of a Curatorial Research Grant from Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art and curated the exhibition The Time of Our Lives (Drawing Room, 2024) which explored the role that drawing has played within feminist activism.
