Yoga Nidra, or conscious sleep, not only profoundly relaxes you; it also develops your connection to spirit and anchors you in the highest state of consciousness. In this six-week livestream course, you will discover this ancient healing practice, and experience how it can benefit you. 

Each week of this course includes a supported Yoga Nidra practice, skilfully guided by Grainne McAnallen's soothing, assuring voice. In each practice, she will guide you to connect with your energy body, and experience the integration of body, mind and soul/spirit. 

This simple practice deepens your understanding of who you are and your relationship with the world around you.

Yoga Nidra helps you:

  • Connect with the energy that sustains life, referred to as the Divine, Universal Energy, the Holy Spirit and many other terms across different traditions.
  • Calm your nervous system and access a deep state of relaxation.
  • Cultivate a more positive mental emotional way of being.
  • Work with affirmations and intention to speed up your personal transformation.
  • Anchor yourself at the highest state of consciousness.

Each session in this course will include a guided Yoga Nidra practice with a different focus.

Week 1: Introduction to Yoga Nidra

  • Learn about the practice and how it works on every level of your being to support the integration of body, mind and spirit.
  • Experience the totality of who you are.

Week 2: Connecting with Spirit

  • Understand the role of the nervous system in personal transformation.
  • Seek guidance from your Higher Self or Spirit on how to be happier and healthier.

Week 3: Working with Affirmations

  • Understand the power of accessing alpha, theta and delta brainwave frequencies for personal transformation.
  • Work with positive affirmations to create a new, more supportive mental emotional state of being.

Week 4: Working with Intention

  • Harness the power of both the conscious and the unconscious mind to support transformation.
  • Develop and work with your own personal intention.

Week 5: Connecting with Spirit

  • Explore the many ways that we can ask for guidance in Yoga Nidra.
  • Seek guidance on how to live life with an open heart.

Week 6: Integration

  • Taking the practice beyond the course to support your wellbeing and to support your personal development journey.

    We will not be recording these classes. One of the unique aspects of the College's online courses is that they are highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to discuss and share with the tutor and the group. These sharings can be very personal, and some may not feel comfortable with them being recorded. If you need to miss any sessions, your tutor will be happy to offer a brief outline of the material covered.
