These weekly 90-minute classes guide you on a journey of kundalini awakening. Kundalini energy harbours your immense potential.

It is the sum total of your spirit. This powerful force resides dormant at the base of your spine, and for some people it stays that way.

For others, it suddenly bursts awake - an event referred to as a 'kundalini experience' which can cause tremendous stress on the body as the nervous system struggles to cope.

Kundalini yoga will not trigger this response - in fact it helps to avoid it. Kundalini yoga strengthens and prepares our nervous system to safely receive and embody this energy. It balances and clears our chakras and energy channels, and releases emotional debris in order to clarify our physical and metaphysical bodies.

Destructive habits and old hurts fall away as kundalini yoga forges the blueprint for healthy new ones.

- These classes are open to first timers and seasoned yogis alike. - You don't need to be super fit, strong or bendy, but you do need to have an open mind and a willing spirit. - Some classes are more physical and you might work up a bit of a sweat, while others are more meditative and restorative - but no class is ever the same. - Please wear comfy clothes and bring a yoga mat and blanket. If you don't have a yoga mat, the College will provide one.
