Having trained at The College of Psychic Studies for nearly a decade, Danielle Close brings intuition and entrepreneurial vision in equal measure. Alongside her work as a professional psychic medium, she is the founder of My Skin Feels, an inventive sustainable skincare brand. What makes Danielle's story so remarkable is how her psychic mediumship training has shaped the growing success of her start-up. We applaud the way in which she has developed My Skin Feels with a skilled combination of intuition and business acumen.
Meet Danielle Close, psychic medium & founder of My Skin Feels
Danielle Close is a 5th generation professional psychic medium. First aware of her abilities at the age of five, she formally deepened her development through structured training, beginning her studies at The College of Psychic Studies in 2017. During her years at the College, Danielle learned to ground her intuitive work in emotional intelligence, responsibility and ethical practice, shaping the way she supports her psychic mediumship clients and the way she runs her business.

Danielle's intuitive practice actively informs how she continues to drive the success of My Skin Feels, available in Whole Foods & Credo Beauty (US). Psychic mediumship training is a life skill, an ability that can inform every aspect of the way we live. 'It teaches you to trust your instincts, understand people and their choices beyond the surface,' Danielle explains. 'Every decision we make at My Skin Feels is guided by intuition as much as logic – and that's been instrumental in shaping the brand, securing investment and working with the right people.'
My Skin Feels: An intuition-led brand
Danielle founded My Skin Feels after becoming increasingly exasperated with how saturated, confusing and wasteful the beauty industry had become. Rather than adding to the noise, she set out to challenge it. My Skin Feels transforms rescued food (food waste) into microbiome-friendly fermented skincare. The formulations are built from by-products of organic food manufacturing, specifically from tomato ketchup, olive oil, breakfast oats and orange juice, turning what would otherwise be discarded into skin-loving ingredients that strengthen and support even the most sensitive skin.
'I created My Skin Feels out of necessity. Not because we need more products, but because we need more products that have stronger core values. Yes, we're here to help protect the planet, but we're also here to help consumers navigate the overwhelming beauty market with products that actually work – no fads, no fuss. Our focus is on both healthy skin and how it makes you feel.' ~ Danielle Close, My Skin Feels founder
Manufactured locally in the UK, My Skin Feels products are packaged sustainably in recyclable, EU-sourced aluminium, avoiding cargo shipping. The brand also uses recycled water derived from its upcycled orange juice ingredients, meaning no 'new water' is introduced into production. In addition, My Skin Feels proudly donates 1% of sales to the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership, supporting efforts to reduce food waste within the local community.
Psychic mediumship meets business
Danielle is passionate about normalising psychic mediumship so people feel comfortable seeking guidance and support when they need it most. Her work reflects values central to The College of Psychic Studies: integrity, responsibility and the development of intuition as a practical, empowering tool. Through My Skin Feels, Danielle demonstrates how intuitive training can translate into meaningful impact, not only on a personal level but across industries. My Skin Feels is a blueprint for a future shaped by intuition and integrity.
Congratulations, Danielle Close and My Skin Feels! All of us at The College of Psychic Studies are cheering your extraordinary success.
