In this workshop we work with pranayama (breathwork), kriyas (cleansing practices) and meditations that deeply detoxify our body, mind and spirit.
By targeting the physical toxins held deep in our internal organs and digestive system, and teaching the body how to release them, we enable in turn a release of subtle toxins on the psychic level, cleansing and detoxing not only our body but our aura and subtle bodies, too.
Once the body's systems are cleared of that which no longer nourishes us on a microcosmic level, the process is echoed on a macrocosmic level in clearing our life of toxic situations and unhelpful relationships.
The practices in this workshop support us in this deep detoxification process, allowing us to release what we no longer need with grace and ease.
This workshop is for everyone, regardless of level or ability. All you need to practise is an open mind and willing spirit. You may find some of the movements challenging but always worth your best efforts. There will be chairs available for those who find it uncomfortable sitting on the floor/yoga mat for extended periods of time. Please wear comfy clothes appropriate for movement.
I have worked with many styles of yoga - from Ashtanga to Vinyasa for more than ten years and teach Kundalini and general hatha yoga. When not teaching yoga I write regular magazine features for Om Yoga, Yoga and Everyday Health.
