Dr David Luke is a psychologist working in the field of Parapsychology.

His main interests are in altered states of consciousness and exceptional experiences such as psi (extrasensory perception) especially those experiences occurring during meditation, dreams and following the ingestion of psychedelic substances.

David has conducted some of the largest scale dream ESP Studies. He is also interested in cross-cultural approaches to altered states of consciousness and what we can learn from indigenous cultures, and is conducting field research investigations with shamans. This evening David will talk to us about his work especially his extensive dream ESP studies and his work with South American shamans who use psychoactive plants and fungi for spiritual and shamanic rituals.

What is happening in the brain during these experiences and what can be learned from his dream ESP studies and from traditional shamanic practices using these substances? Does it give us an insight into what is taking place in the brain when practising mediumship?

This talk is taking place in-person at our college in London

You can find the address and travel directions on our contact page - we'll also include all the information in your enrolment email.
