Part 2 - Boundaries of the body

In this second of a series of five workshops, the theme is the boundaries of the body and we will look at the cell, integumentary system (skin) and respiratory system.

These boundaries have an important role to play as they help maintain a dynamic balance of homeostasis.

Required reading from An introductory Guide to Anatomy and Physiology by Louise Tucker. Please read the chapters below:

  • The skin
  • The cell
  • The respiratory system

Please have writing material with you on the day.
