Creating Personal Change with Kali Ma

Spend a day getting to know one of the most feared, yet revered, goddesses of the Hindu pantheon, Kali Ma, in this in-person workshop. 

In this workshop at the College, Frances Billinghurst, who is visiting us from Australia, will introduce us to the great Kali Ma. With the help of this revered goddess of destruction, we will release the old and outdated, and bring forth the new and the nourishing.

When we look beyond Kali's terrifying appearance, we discover that she is a great mother goddess whose love, while it may be tough, is also deep and true. When we connect with Kali Ma and surrender our ego to her, she offers us the gift of self-empowerment through personal freedom. This in-person workshop guides you to connect with and experience this aspect of Kali Ma, marking the beginning of a life-long relationship with this deeply compassionate goddess.

As well as discussion, this workshop will include meditation and chanting to open us up to a powerful experience of Kali Ma's energy.
