Ask 10 spiritual teachers what kundalini is, and you'll likely get 10 different answers. A force to fear? A power to awaken? A metaphor? Or a lived reality that can reshape our entire experience of consciousness? For something so central to yogic and tantric traditions, kundalini remains one of the most misunderstood – and most feared – topics in spiritual life.

This workshop at The College of Psychic Studies is an invitation to approach kundalini with clarity rather than mystique. We'll draw on ancient texts, phenomenological research and direct experience to explore what kundalini actually is, how it moves and what it means to awaken it safely and consciously.

This in-person workshop explores:

  • The nature of kundalini as both a spontaneous experience and cultivated path to awakening
  • Experiences and descriptions of kundalini from yogic and tantric texts
  • The networks of Ida, Pingala, and Bindu, and how these pathways contribute to vitality and spiritual awakening
  • How can we support ourself and others who are experiencing this profound transformation

This workshop includes guided practices of Ajikan meditation from Japanese tantra, and 'A' meditation from Tibetan tantra. We will unpack the significance of these practices and their role in inclining the mind to a profound experience of meditation.

Book now to explore an often misunderstood aspect of spiritual awakening, and learn how to safely navigate it when it awakens for you.
