Spirits of Place

Each place has its own spirit, whether otherworldly being or echo of the people, events and ideas that are imprinted upon it. In this livestream workshop, you'll learn how to sense and connect with these spirits of place.

Woven through cultural traditions, art and literature is the concept of what the ancient Romans referred to as 'genius loci'. These are protective spirits that are connected to a particular place. Learn about spirits of place, how they come into being and how to work with them for healing in this fascinating workshop.

• The differing atmospheres, energetics and personalities that places can emit
• Why such places can evoke memories or profound feelings
• The Australian Aboriginal concept of Dadirri – deep listening to the land 
• Working with spirits of place to bring about healing at a soul level
