Psychic Surgery with a Spirit Surgeon

Pai André Evangelho, visiting us from Brazil, is an esteemed spiritual leader celebrated for his work with Mestre Filipe, a revered spirit doctor who operates through psychic surgery. In this workshop, Pai André Evangelho of Casa de Cura will be visiting us from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to present his journey as a medium, tracing the development of his spiritual practice, his early initiation into Umbanda, and his profound partnership formed with spirit doctor Mestre Filipe.

In this workshop at The College of Psychic Studies, you will witness live demonstrations of psychic surgery, where healing work is performed under the guidance of Mestre Filipe, and have the rare chance to engage with both Pai André and the incorporated spirit for guidance.

This in-person workshop includes:

You will not be asked to enter a trance state at any time during this workshop.

The spiritual surgeries are entirely non‑invasive, with no use of any sharp or cutting instruments of any kind. The spiritual doctor works only with energy and the hands. There is no physical penetration of the body, no instruments entering the skin, no exposure to bodily fluids and nothing that would compromise physical safety or hygiene. What we describe as 'psychic surgery' is an energetic and spiritual procedure, not a physical operation.

For the live demonstrations of psychic surgery, members of Pai André's team will volunteer as subjects. This allows you to observe the process safely, without any pressure to participate as a subject.
